Tsk recently, there has been lots of criticisms about SMRT trains cos of the train disruption/breakdown(s) for the past four days. I’m not being biased or whatever here, just voicing out my thoughts. Personally not a “train person” but yes, I would still understand the frustrations of people who take trains because if the bus break down, i would be cursing and swearing too. LOL.

(PS. Been reading tweets like “FML, the trains act up AGAIN”, “#SMRTsucks”, “ARGH WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE TRAINS” etc etc.)

However, I rly wonder, have we ever appreciate its service? Have we ever thank them for bringing us from one destination to another? Or have we taken it for granted? D: it’s no doubt commuters are angry/disappointed cos we’ve paid fares yet it breaks down. This is understandable. But technical faults are unavoidable, no? Trains operate for 365 days, almost 24/7 (longer hours especially during festivals like new year countdown etc.) Even electrical appliances at homes break down, yes? Moreover, it’s such a huge transport and requires more maintence than usual. Instead of looking at all the negative happenings these few days, why not look at the positive side and the service it has bring us for the past years? It’s pretty unfair to bring it down and lose confidence in SMRT trains just cos of the breakdown these few days. What about the hard work for the past, say 10 years? What’s ten years as compared to few days? Nevertheless, I also understand that commuters have the rights to get angry because it caused a lot of inconvenience and trouble to actually switch to another mode of transport in such short period (or rather, w/o notice)

AND THEN; seriously why ask the CEO to resign ahhhhh? LOL. It’s her job to ensure that the trains operate well but it’s technical errors. No one see it coming. Will her resignation change anything? (Of cos, I’m not pin-pointing that it’s technicians’ fault-.-) c’mon, it’s not as if her resignation will cause the trains, to miraculously operate perfectly, just like previously. I strongly believe the management team is trying hard to fix the problem. Shouldn’t we, as commuters, give them our utmost support, cooperation and patience? That’s the least to do, no? but well, when something crop up, there’s always “a need” to blame someone. And in this case, unfortunately, it’s the CEO. -.-

If humans deserve a second chance, don’t they?

Okay, this is all my opinions and no offense should anyone read it and feel SUPER OFFENDED…

Okay, anyway, I wanna get myself a X’mas gift! Lol. And it’s this leopard prints tote from C&K(^see above pictureeeeeeee). never see this irl before thou, i know i’ll love it still<3 hehe oh anyway i checked out the leopard prints nail patch from sephora today and i must say i rly like it :) still considering cos i’m afraid it’ll be too troublesome to apply! :/ there’s flora designs tooooooo
